Default Will the Virus TI work with Powercore and UAD1 too?

The headline says it all. How will tc powercore and uad1 work after installing Virus TI with usb total integration? Clicks and pops or reduced maximum audio loads or just fine? It would be great if somebody from access could answer this.

I will let you know when mine arrives first week of October Even if the TI software did have problems, I would be happy using it in normal hardware mode with 3 stereo outs.

I have a Powercore Firewire and a Virus TI Polar same time on my machine and they run fine. There is no known issue.

I can run the Virus Powercore and the Virus TI via Virus Control sametime under Cubase SX etc.

i guess this question can't be anwered in general. the powercore and the universal audio card use PCI and/or firewire to communicate and transfer data. in theory those bus systems are entirely independent of the USB connections.
for instance in the case of the G5 i'm using to test i don't have a problem, running a TI, a powercore firewire, an RME audio card and protools at the same time.
on the other hand, one of our developers discovered side effects on his laptop and it turned out that those disappear once he changed certain energy saver settings.

the maximum channel count (in case this bottleneck is still present in a nowadays real life scenario) will likely not change once the TI is connected. but if you system is at 95% anyway, i cannot predict and generalise what would happen.

we spend a great deal of time and effort to get things right. the points you bring up are valid points and therefore you deserve an honest and serious answer. i believe that the drivers we provide are as good as the ones of serious audio hardware manufacturers and therefore will not dissappoint.

hope that helps a little

no, there are no 64 bit drivers and there won't anytime soon, sorry. let's make sure we have Vista compatible drivers first ...

Ok thanks.

Could I be right in assuming as the TI control software will work in windows64 (as win64 will run 32bit apps in a protected mode), and I could use the normal hardware outs on the TI into the TI software like that?
