Default major problems

hi, i have tried updating to os 4.2 and also tried 4.5. but both have rendered my ti2 unuseable. when i open the virus up in cubase it comes up with the statement... ' VIRUS CONTROL DIAGNOSTICS. midi driver failed. the midi driver failed to start or is not installed. this can happen if you have connected too many usb's. also try to install the virus ti software again.' Well it was working just fine for the best part of a year and i havent added any more usb devices, i havent even moved the usb lead to the computer from the port i used to install software originally. i have now tried all different versions available on the access site at the moment but none of them work. Everything was just fine before and i wish i hadnt bothered with this update, how can i get it to work? i would happily reinstall os 3.0.3 or whatever it was, if only i could find it..... any ideas...? cheers, kev.

Wink

Try a different USB cable or try to use a different USB port, to many USB products is also bad for Virus TI. Good luck!

Heya,

I just came across a topic which describes a solution to this... Should work, on atleast on XP - is what I gathered.

Haven't been able to test the method mentioned myself.. But here, incase this might help: http://www.infekted.org/virus/showth...d=1#post297568

Check what erbalist says...
