Not in any particular order:

1. Classical (including avant-garde)
2. Jazz (including crooners of the golden age --not Michael Bubblehead-- and Bossa Nova.)
3. Fusion (particularly the Pat Metheny Group)
4. Musical (until the early seventies, rare exceptions afterward...)
5. Singer-songwriters of the 60's and 70's
6. Progressive rock (Pink Floyd, Genesis etc.)
7. Any other kind of rock (until the 1980's, when it died...)
8. New age/ambient (though probably 70-80% of it is crap from people who couldn't play/compose any other genre...)
9. Film music (until the 1970, when it became the same crap over and over.)
10. Rare examples of anything not listed that are worth listening to.

1. Psy-Trance (especially Silicon sound, Astrix, Talamasca, Transwave and Hallucinogen / Shpongle)
2. Ambient
3. Other electronic music like Jean Michel Jarre or Vangelis
4. World music
5. A few songs of Disco

I am interested by instrumental music in general, because I feel free without lyrics.
