Default Quick Reply seems to be broken on the forum :)

Hey Timo & guys, I have often had issues with Quick Reply on this forum. I use the latest Firefox release on PC.

Sometimes I hit submit and it won't submit at all. Sometimes it will take several tries before it works. Sometimes it double posts. Sometimes it posts but looks as though it didn't.

It's a little screwy

If there's any chance you can check it out that would be really sweet.

It has never worked successfully for me without getting the error message - I do a quick reply and get the error message but the post is posted properly.

Hi guys, thanks for the heads up, I've actually been scratching my head for quite a while about it! Always says "The following errors occurred when this message was submitted" followed by "Okay"... without actually showing any errors, and then you have to refresh the page manually.

Must admit I'm a bit wet behind the ears with vBulletin as I've inherited the system rather than set it up myself, I've literally dived into all of the Admin controls but I think something else is slightly amiss.

Rather annoyingly vBulletin.com don't allow older legitimate forum customers to post on their forums - instead you have to upgrade the forum software every year at cost to retain this ability. They most likely did this to stop pirates getting free access to support on their forum and site, but unfortunately it also blocks out any legitimate owners who don't wish to upgrade every year. Consequently I've nowhere to go for support. Posted on a couple of unofficial boards but never managed to get any replies.

so it wasn`t just me then you could disable quick-reply perhaps?
maybe allow for donations, so you could pay for the upgrades for vbulletin? I`d gladly donate a few bucks
