I own a Virus A


and Have just brought a second hand Virus TI. I would like to know where I can get the control software. as when i Try to singn up on the Access Site



Nothing seems to happen and I cant get to download it.
I ain't yet Recieved the synth but just wanted to get the software. to go with it.


or will it come with the software. as I cant seem to fing it any place.


any help would be great.

I think you need to register using the serial number of the Virus.
After that, you can login and download any software.

The virus has killed itself long before the pandemic, no updates to the software are ever going to be released. RIP Virus!

Plenty of 40 year old synths still living on and making good music thanks to third party editors. Virus will be no different.

I owned a Virus TI Polar for about 15 years, and sold it when I moved to another state, thinking I was done. I just bought a new TI2 Polar after 2 years without one, and I still love it. It hadn't worked well with Digital Performer for years, and of course Virus Control is basically broken, but it does seem to allow me to load and save all the sounds using my somewhat older Mac OS that preserved my old Photoshop app, and many music apps. So indeed, it's still great as a hardware synth with tons of sounds and history, and it looks better than anything in my opinion. I haven't yet bought the Aura plugins software, but it looks as though that will replace what's missing from Virus Control.
