Default Acid Sound

Hi I've been trying to recreate this sound on my virus C for a while and I've got a sound that resembles it but wondered if someone could help get it more accurate for me?

Here is an MP3 sample:

Any help with this would be much appreciated!

Many Thanks, Harry

If you use a DAW, try buying Audiorealism's Bassline.

It is a fantastic TB303 clone, you ain't gonna get true acid from a virus.

This sound was made on a Virus C! I've even spoken to the guy who made it, but he wouldn't let me know how it was made or send me the midi

its a very basic patch
2 saw oscilators synced
12 db filter mode when one is lp and the other is hp medium rez with hard staturation, some distortion and basicly its tweeking the second osc pitch and tweeking the filter cutoffs or maybe lfo-filter modulation.
shouldnt be more complex then that....

maybe add some chorus and maybe 2-3 unisono voices with minor detune.
