Thanks. That patch is called 'BelisimoBC' - it's really a very simple patch, but sounds so beautiful it's difficult to stop playing it All I did was take a Hypersaw on Osc1 (density 9) and a pretty simple bell wave on Osc2. I then used LFO2 in env mode to sweep Osc Balance, so the bells fade into warm saws as you hold the keys. A tiny bit of lowpass filtering, some delay and chorus, and Bob's your uncle.

Jumping on the "I'm impressed!" train....

The last wavetable sound at 4:12 is fantastic, reminds me of later ozric tentacles stuff. So madly psychedelic

damnit, i'm not going to be able to afford/justify one of these in the near or far future.

damnit, damnit, damnit.

I love wavetables......it reminds me of films like 'Flight of the Navigator'

God i dig that soundtrack....even though it was most likely done on the DX7. Anyways.....you get the picture....

The SynthWizard has some advice - Back in the 1980's music was better, TV was better, films were better. Not to mention fashion.... Let me help you relive the past with some classic 80's sounds from my vintage synth collection....

If you re-listen to the demo...and pay particular attention to the little nuances in the wavetable pads...theres alot of work gone into those.

OK, Understandable, but just b/c I was not impressed by the sounds does not mean I dont respect the time that went into making the patches. I meant no offense by saying I wasn't impressed, it was just my honest opinion.
I think Ben did a great job on designing certain sounds people are most like to use. Lets be honest, this is what sells a synth anyway. Not everybody, except some people on this board and the mailing list, like to take the time and program a synth. Some poeple buy a virus, just so they can get their hands on the standard over-used sounds instead of building their own sounds. And this is what the demo is catering to I think. Lets face it. It was a safe way to showcase the features of the new tables and hypersaw. Once again there is nothing wrong that, as Access needed to finally do something of the such to keep pre-order people at bay.

BTW, did you break down and just buy that Andy8 yet?

Merlot, please detail the kinds of sounds you were hoping to hear - I'll be only to glad to see if I can make some that are more to your liking.

Ben,
Thanks for the offer. If it is not putting you out in any way, I would like to hear more drone patches like the first one, except a more gritty and dark (more waves mixed with the hyper). Maybe bit-reduction and saturation used on the wavetables to give it that lof-fi, sci-fi sound (some crazy sounds you would hear on Star-Trek/battlestar galactica). How about some crazy off the wall evolving patches that you think people would have a hard time making a track with. Maybe a sine mixed with the new wavetable that evolves the morphing wavetable into a sub-bass with movement ( I can hear the sound, just aving trouble explaining it). Anything off the wall basically. i am really intrigued by the possibilities of the new wavetables.
After watching the video a thousand times, I can see the potential of the new waveforms, which I personally think you guys did a great job on the ones that were showcased. I know Access is not trying to create a replication of the waldorf, but instead branch out on their own and create something invigorating and new.
Listening to it again, I can hear the potential in the first and the fifth (i think) wavetable patches, and somewhat in the last one.

What I'd like to hear in the patches would be a few arpeggiated patches so I can see how flexible the new arp is going to be. I hope it has variable note lenght, velocity and that you can also choose the notes(not only octave up, octave down)

But I totally agree with Merlot regarding drone-like patches

Once again, been listening to the demo in loop since it was released..Some GREAT stuff in there!

Listening again, I really like the patch at 3min40. One of yours Ben?
So that gives me 2 sounds that I like here - the one at about 3min15-3min25 is very nice too.

Seeing as everyone is putting in orders on what they want to hear. I'd really like to hear it dry more Ben.
