I heard about a blind test they did with a group of professional producers and mastering engineers. On one audio signal they used a super expensive set of cables and for the other, old copper wire coat hangers. NONE of them could tell a difference, and I think one or two actually chose the coat hangers as the "premium" cable!

I don't know if this is just internet lore or did it really happen? Sounds plausible to me.

With that being said, ALL my gear is wired with Monster Cable. But I don't buy pricey cables expecting it to sound better, I buy them because they're usually well constructed and carry a lifetime replacement warranty. They're made of quality materials and better shielded to block out/prevent electrical interference and noise.

Thats a bit of stupid test - thick lump of metal as conductor vs a thinner cable?

The thick lump of metal would probably win.

well its not psych!!! the lows extend well maybe its all because u never heard compared between those 2 eh, take a try and then tell if its psych.
