Hi everyone Im new here!
I recived my Virus Ti Desktop yesterday and have a major problem:
VC crash Cubase to desktop pretty often and
a few seconds later (5 sek-30sek) I get "Blue screen" ......
This happens moments after VC uppstart.
If I get a working start och VC witch happens sometimes it usually works without problems.

I have latest Virus TI update (2.0.3) and firmware
My Virus is connected direct to the motherboard USB port no other USB devices are connected

My system:
Asus P5b Motheboard (Bios 1102)
Intel Dualcore Conroe Processor 2.4
2gb memory 6400 Mhz
2*UAD Pci cards
Nvidia 7300 Graphic card
Yamaha 01x firewire audio mixer/card on a separate firewirecard
Cubase SX 3,1

I have:
Reistalled and tried different USB ports
Updated mainboard bios.
No other problems before I Installed the Virus Desktop and VC

UPDATED:
Dissconected my UAD Cards
Used a separate pci USB card
updated my graphic drivers
uninstalled my graphic drivers

Anyone with some Ideas?

Here is one of my my bluescreen logs (some of it in Swedish)

best reply is to contact technical support on access web page.

they should figure it out quicker than any of us, I for one never had a crash like that, you could try savihost.exe, search google and use that to open VC, this should tell you if there are problems with the drivers etc.

but contact access ;)

Solved it! (after 1 sleepless night) :-)

I moved my Firewire card to a slot as far away as possible from my graphic card.

Result:
No Bluscreens
Less VC crash Cubase (3 times during 6 hours of intese testings)
Some clicks and plops using USB

Not 100% stable but more as I aspected after reading forums about Virus TI.
I im really in love with this peace of gear despite the problems.
The sound is awsome (first Virus I own) The VC Interface is so cool and fast to work with.
I hope Access have high priority in even more stable drivers and VC.

if you're still having stability issues then there are further conflicts in you system, there is a way to check the irq settings in the machine possibly you may be sharing something, worth a check, but maybe you have something different, let us know if you solve any further

or

describe the problems you have, don't believe all the trolls on the other forum

My unsolved main problem is that VC sometimes crash Cubase.
This happens short after I start VC:
Start Cubase - Start VC - Select Virus TI as output on midichannel - Cubase crash.
Before I moved my Firewirecard this happend very often and also gave a "Bluscreen"
Today after moving my Firewirecard to another pci slot it happend 3 times during 6 hours of testing but without "Bluscreen"
Before I had VC installed and running I had mayby one crash every other week so three Cubase crashes in one day is way to much.

I will check my Irqs tomorrow when Im in the studio.
