I've tried, soundiver, midiquest xl ( did export the banks in midi)
And I tried to import 7skies free 15 and other banks that are in midi
I tried with ableton live 8 because that's all I have .

My setup:

Midi in/out to USB (for virus)
Focusrite Scarlett 2i2
Oxygen 3rd gen 49 keyboard .

I tried freeloader from the previous post,

2.good way to import/export banks
3.what are the settings you have to set on the virus
Because this forum had A LOT of of answers

I also tried the the virus manuel but didn't help neither

Hi there,

I use MidiQuest XL for storing presets. It's pretty much straighforward, I can even save them as data if I want, and then place them back into the synth, any given time. Works for me, I don't bother with storing all presets into the synth's own memory, just create an extra folder on my project's folder with Virus presets and store them there.

But assuming Sound Driver works a similar way, you'll need Midi in and Out, on some port - which you have to indicate first, so the program can access the thing. Another thing: check if you have the right Midi options on the synth, there's a good chance it's not - check the manual. And don't give up man, once you find something that works, you'll see how easy it is, really.

click open device then choose virus c template.
up left you have to choose your midi port (use only midi ins and outs)
check if you got these numbers right down in the same box up left:
velocity 34 / timeout 750 / send pause 500 / play delay 50
rescan and good luck!

I tried using midiquest to but I can't import midi banks to my virus thru it lol

And the sounddive's "open device " isn't dark soo I assume that I don't have the virus template ?

try to connect your virus (turned on!) with midi before click on open device
