Me, I love Ableton Live. It's the only software that I've got installed both on my Mac and my PeeCee. Absolutely grand.
Good for conforming samples you've got of live drummers with a tempo-based track. VST plugin support, and ReWire. Excellent. The only thing I miss is the ability to use changing meters/time signatures. All in all, I simple love it. Elegant user interface, far-ranging functionality. And, unlike many software sequencers, it doesn't try to be something it's not. Highly recommended. -Hoax
