You need to take a break bro... LOL!

Just kidding.

Nice troubleshooting in any case. I would have done the same thing....LOL!

But doesn't it suck when you find out the simplest answer was the right one?
You just spent like 2 extra hours of time lost when the obvious answer was staring you right in the face.

But shit..I do that all the time. I think of all the hardest possible solutions to a problem when the simplest answer happens to be right there. LOL!

Heh!

Well I didnt mean to make you feel bad and remind you. Just wanted to add...hehe

Moral of the story

Think of dumbest thing you would have overlooked first...

HAHAHA!

Thanks, might be useful information in the future. I will be sure to post successful troubleshooting here as well. It would almost always be beneficial to the forum, especially with the search engine to look back with.

I've supported PC's since 1983, and I long since stopped trying to narrow problems down using logic. Assuming that the USB cable is fine because it works with the TI desktop seems logical but it was an incorrect assumption.

I don't know everything by any means, my point is that you really do have to swap some components because you'll never know unless you try it.

Cheers,
B
