Please correct me if I am mistaken, but I honestly can't think of any valid reason why you would need VC to load faster than 1.5 seconds. Access surely have bigger fish to fry, such as writing 64 bit VC anyway...right guys? :P

Or hunting down the timing/sync issues that many people still have. Oh, wait! I forgot. There is no timing/sync issue. Carry on.

Actually I noticed too that the VC takes longer than all other windows in Cubase to pop up. Not by much (1.5s), but just enough to be an annoyance.

I just never close VC and just keep in the background.
