Still get all the leds flickering on and off occasionally, bit like what it used to do before the crash, but I have yet to get it to crash! Still have crackling over the usb outputs when moving knobs / wheels, which generally after a bit of use seems to clear. Sometimes I don't get it at all, it does it intermittently, so I'm not sure what is causing that but it's not pleasant. Other than that, it seems okay.

128, does it whatever I set it at. Tried every usb port (TI on it's own bus, different cables blah, blah). It never used to do it as far as I can remember though, possibly before V3 but I can't be sure. I might try 2.75 as a comparison. It's like zipper noise, so I've tried different settings with smooth mode but nothing changes. As I said, it does seem to go away after a while.

Cheers.

So I'm using 10 channels of Virus in one of my tracks and resently it's been crashing this cubase project over and over again. Whenever I restart Cubase 5 after a crash, a message appears saying the the ins/outs are not configured... blah blah blah. Basically the VC cannot start unless I restart the mac pro.

can you send this project to access support please? it would really help to understand why it is crashing in your case.

thanks, marc

also tested the new os now:

my testproject has only one z3ta plugin and one genesis cm synth running (work great) + compressor

virus control plugin loads up fine->when i switch to Patchbrowser in VC and play some notes Display in Cubase gets really slow (Mixer, Sequenzerwindows)

but thats only when i´m in the Patchbrowser and when switching the tabs in VC

i could also reproduce that in a brandnew sequenzer i´m just testing *g*
