you can assign all these parameters to a soft knob, or just "channel volume".
but in "single mode", you can just turn the main volume down? this is only useful when working with multiple sounds... noise and specially ring mod are an important aspect of the patches using it, not just some level control to tame down - 'cause it changes the whole sound with it, so watch out for that.
