Depends who you are I think....
eg I spent about $20k there, plus another $10k by bringing friends there to purchase, so I always get a pretty good deal when I go there (and some freebies!)
They love me!
Edit: And I agree with the other posters, sort out your monitoring environment, treat the first reflection points... that egg foam stuff is next to useless, believe me

thanks for the advice guys
the f11s look nice, but they are actually only a 6' driver... the fact that no one stocks them locally kind of puts them out of the running...
I think i really just need to hear the tannoys next to the dynaudios and the decision will be made
cheers

The old reveal Actives (which I have) are supposed to be decent "reference" monitors, not sure if they have gone for the same thing with these new ones.
The Dynaudios are definately accuracy based....

my housemate has a pair of the older model reveal passives - i find the detail in the mid-high range very appealing but of course they lack bass response. the new 8Ds seem to have addressed this issue tannoys seem to have such a linear response....
however - when the dynaudio are so widely used in the industry and there is not much difference in price - it is hard to choose otherwise.
basically something has to prove itself to be better than the bm6s or that what i will be getting...
cheers

hi,people
blay,in your list of monitors i have listened 3 models:
-tapco s8 great for quality/price,and good monitors in general.)
i listened event 20/20 bas v2 is very close but i like only a little more than S8 for stereo image and little more body sound.
- adam p11a: amazing on high and mid frecuencies(precision and definition too)but in low frecuencies i don?t like it,quite limited for my opinion.
-event asp8
it?s the best monitor that i have listened till 1500 euros.
all frecuencies is very detailed and very precise, low frecuencies quite over than monitors in this price.
i recommend listen it 8O
