Default Weird TI problem - bit worried now.

Hi,

The other day I was having a quick go on my TI keyboard. It was plugged into a old soundcraft mixer and I was listening through headphones connected to the mixer. Anyway all of a sudden a loud static noise signal came through headphones, rising and then falling away, lasted about 5 seconds, all the LED's of the virus swtiched off during the horrible noise that I was hearing, then came on after it had left. For some reason I wasn't sure I had seen what I had because I only briefly saw the LED's come back on as I was looking at the mixer. I didn't understand what had happended really because I thought it was the headphone jack as the person I bought it off said it crackled from time to time.

Anyway I was on the virus again tonight and the same thing just happened, the LED's switched off during the horrible burst of static like noise I was hearing. It last about 5 seconds and the LED's came back on again. I wasn't sure if the screen went funny because I didn't get a chance to look.

Anyway fearing it could be a bad OS install or bug (running 3.0.1.15), I have just reinstalled v2.7.5.

Now I have just noticed that the +2 transpose LED is constantly flashing on a low light, not full brightness! I'm worrying if it could be something more serious that happened and not just a bug as I had initially thought.

I'm going to have a go with the virus tomorrow and see if the problem happens again with 2.7.5.

Could it have been the mixer? Could it be faulty? Could it be my serge adapter, its old, but the light says its fully functioning?

What do you think?

I've just read in another thread that its a crash. Doesn't explain the LED blinking issue though.

This problem is identical to mine. I started a thread about it to find out what's the latest. It has been almost 2 months now since access support advised me that they are working hard to come up with a solution. Marc of Access says an OS update that "might" solve the crashing may turn up in a couple of days. Let's wait and see.
