New HC Drum'N' Bass track online. "Hoom"
I hadn't finished a DnB track in bloody ages, so I decided to do another one for old times.
It's not your standard DnB though. I tried to go for something a little different (eg; there isn't even much bass in the track). Also, it's probably a little slower than I would have normally layed down (169bpm).
PS. I went through a HP-filter phaze with this one.
Feedback always welcome.
EDIT* To get to the track, left click the Electromancer link bellow.

listening now...........
- Like the sounds.
- beat reminds me of the 80's hit. . . . "oh mickey your so fine, your so fine you blow my mind. Hey mickey"
- Diggin the distorted lead sound.
- Sub bass is nice also
- mixing sounds good and balanced on these crappy speakers at work
Overall, awesome job. Really diggin it. I like the beat, the sounds. It is simple and that is a good thing.

HC,
awesome work! i really like your "in da face" sound. nothing drowning in too much reverb which is a common mistake.. the beat is not annoyingly complex as in most d&b stuff. the riff/chord prog compliments each other very nicely.
excellent work!
keep it up m8,

Simple minimalistic, like HC's stuff usually is. Maybe a bit more punch on the drums and some busy bassline could do wonders, but otherwise a nice track.
