I Wanna Know..

Being my 100th post, I want to know the nitty gritty of some TI features, the inner tech specs and the like.

Number 1(a). Sample Rates.
I wanna know is the basic engine of the TI going to be 48khz?
I thought I read on another forum that it was. How much better would it sound given that a lot of soft synths now days can be played/mixed-down etc in rates of up to 196khz.

Number 1(b). Virus Control and Sample Rates.
If the engine is fixed at one rate (i.e. 48khz) then when your running a project in a sequencer running virus control are you restricted into using the rate of your virus or does the TI resample up/down to the project? If so is it a good algo? Does the TI do it? or the Virus Control plug?

Number 2. Bith Depth.
Similar to 1 is the bit depth (24/20/32float) in the TI engine, and is it streamed to the Virus control at that depth? etc. Would they have considered other bit depths that are double precision fixed and the like?

Just curious if other virus people would have been thinking of these things and if stuff like this would be in the manual.

The analogue convertors are at studio-grade, balanced 24-bit/192khz.

The digital SPDIF in/out is switchable 44.1/48KHz.
