Default OMG my sound card is broken

This sucks!
For some reason the inputs on my card is not working properly since my virus only gives left signal when working on it via the pc. Though if i plug it right into my mixer it workds fine, i can pan it and stuff without when panning to the right the sound just disappear. Really weird. At first i thought i used too big cables(too big in the ends that is) because it was all mashed together and sometimes my inputs didnt work. Now i'm seriously concerned i wrecked my inputs
PS. i have an E-MU 1212
