Default Anyone played a Continuum Fingerboard?

I found this video a weeks back when I was researching about V-synths.

http://www.hakenaudio.com/Continuum/200/HakR216.html

The guys on the V-synth forum/site say that he is triggering an XT (V-synth rack) from it. Never get to see the V-synth though.

Anyway....

Have any of you played with one of these controllers?
I'd love to have a go on one!

This is a custum made board.
The guy who make them,Manufacture only few of thos a year.
Few Kyma owners use it to triger their kyma systems.

it seems a bit hard to master.
imagine you have a keyboard with no black keys.

I've seen this before (not exactly the same video) - but damn that is one expressive-controller.

getting those leads sounding "real" and not sequenced with this is probably a breeze once you mastered the control.

And i guess if you played guitars before you probably have it alot easier when trying to master it.

i think its one of the most expressive controlers exist corrently.
you can control the timber of the sound and also have X Y and assign them to different things such as ... anything!

~2400 euro for the mini size keyboard is defently not for the budget home studio users.

Whoa, didn't realize they were that pricey. 8O

Although it would take a bit to master, once you did it would be really fun to play with. Imagine the sucker with pads!

There was one on Ebay once that I was bidding on to use with My Kyma system but I got sniped at the last minute bummer it was the smaller board but sold for only 1350.00 I am kicking myself for getting sniped at the last second. This thing is awsome for film scoring! I have a buddy that has one and I would love to get one eventually but that price tag..... Maybe when I start to make some more $$ doing this stuff.

did you get a wacom tablot for your kyma?
that also looked like a superb way of controling and twisting the kyma.
