Default Noise from analog outputs 1,2 and 3; not digital!!

Hello I was wondering if I am the only one that is experiencing noise from the analog outs, (I have a Virus TI Desktop, connected to a Yamaha 02R96 mixing desk, which in turn is connected to my Motu 2408mk3 via 3 adat cards)but when I mean noise I mean there is a very noticeable intermitent beeping, as the noise hose heart rate monitors make in a hospital. I tried it on all outputs, and all have the same noise, it doesn't happen when I am in sequencer mode as I am using the outputs from within the sequencer (Motu 2408Mk3).
So I decided to buy a digital coax cable to see if the noise pesisted but it dissapeared totally, obviously I am only using the main outs so if I want to use the other 2 they'll have to be in analog, which is the noisy one. What's wrong ?, I changed the usb cable just in case, but nothing, I am wondering whether its just the usb audio card inside the TI?
I already own other analog equipment plugged into my mixer and yes because its analog you get noise, but the noise coming from the TI is just too much, bleeping, and white noise.

can anyone help, or know anything about it please.
Cheers

Hi Danny

DO you have midi cables plugged in at the same time as your analog outs are connected. I used to get intermittent clicking and other sorts of cross talk when they were being used at same time...

Did/do other uses get this? What causes it?

Yes I do, Midi in, Midi out, but why should that affect it?. I am now trying it without the midi cables to see what happens. and obviously no midi input. I tried it without the usb cable and all the bleeping noises went, but obviously I cannot use it in sequencer mode without the usb, so I'll have to use it without the usb cable, when I am just playing it and connect it up when I want to use the sequencer. Any other sugestions ?. Why would the usb make that bleeping noise then?

Cheers Danny

That type of digital noise usually originates from the computer. Bad grounding or something.

There are a couple simple troubleshooting you can do.

1. Change USB ports
2. Make sure all screws on the hard drive are securely fastened.

Good luck!
