" Writer's Block " dilemma
Just wondering how everybody else gets around this. I think the main reason for my current bout of block is that my DAW is dragging major ass, which limits my use of soft synths and leaves my KC and AX73 to take care of everything.
Call me crazy, but I'm thinking about consuming a small amount of LSD or some type of tryptamine and start programming.
How does evryone get around this problem and still keep their craft unique?

Sometimes the limitations make me more creative, thinking about the solution, not the poor setup.

Get away, someplace exotic, forget about work, bills, family shit, and all the other menial mundane crap.
Allow yourself to gain some perspective, and then get stuck into it!
Works for me...

If I ever have a block happening, I just program new sounds. Programming is the easiest way to get inspired for me.

i had a 5 months (if not more) block !!! due to a lot of work & stress & lack of time.... a few weeks ago i decided to try again and bang !! two tracks are born in less than 3 weeks... the only thing i decided to change in my process is to stop giving colors to the tracks in cubase!!! and it seems to work
i'll post clips of what i did very soon...

There's nothing wrong with the old random patch creation method.
I wish all VAs had the random function.
