Default JP8000

This is for all of those who a few months back wanted to make comparisons between the JP supersaw and the TI's hypersaw

Go here >> http://www.synthmania.com/jp-8000.htm as they have lots of mp3's

The SynthWizard has some advice - Back in the 1980's music was better, TV was better, films were better. Not to mention fashion.... Let me help you relive the past with some classic 80's sounds from my vintage synth collection....

Nice little site that, thanks DS. Just halfway DLing about 500mb of demos of synths that I've always wanted to hear (in isolation) but never got the chance. Pity there aren't demos for many of the other synths in the lists, but that's me just being blatantly piggish as there's quite a lot there as it is already so dead chuffed. Great stuff.

Good link but includes only presets which don't use the supersaw to the maximum. Funny japanese sounds like always with Roland's synths.

Here I have some supersaw sounds:

demo1
demo2
demo3

Yes, those demos were JP8080.

Here's another JP style demo but I didn't use a JP but a Supernova 2...
superstring (using just 2 saw oscillator + 2 voice unison).

I use TC Classic Verb. However that demo also has sn2's own reverb a little.

Here's another short demo which I did tonight. The original song has a Jp80x0 playing the lead for sure. I used 3 tracks from A6 Andromeda (lead, secondary lead and pad) + Powercore 01 to make a quick bassline. I didn't try to do a great mix but just to have fun... The "JP-lead" has 2 saw oscillators + 5 voice unison.

I sold my JP8080 3 weeks ago because I can do the same sounds with A6. If you want to compare to the original, the song is Thrillseekers - New Life.
