Default Frequency "synced to host"

Huhu!
go into the config menu page "Audio Clock". What parameter have you set under "Frequency"? 44,1 or 48kHz? Any of those? If yes, you are a happy man, because I can't choose either of them because there stands "synced to host"... Not only if it is actuallysynced to host via VC but all the time...

Oh, look doc what I've found out, as soon as you unplug the USB cord, you can choose... Hmm, can you choose with USB chord plugged in?

I stand corrected Doc, I too have this problem. I must have missed it when you reported something similar on another post.

I am not sure if Access will think of it as a problem though. They could argue that when connected via USB ithe TI acts as the Audio interface to your system and therefore must be synced to host.

Have you reported this to Access?

yes I did.

This isn't the problem of the other thread though. I can use the VTI now without any problem. If I start a project with VC and close the host afterwards, I can't use the VTI anymore. All the functions work without any problem, it only doesn't respond to MIDI...

wooow, access is fast!!! got a reply within 2 hours 8O

as soon as USB is connected, you can't choose the frequency anymore...

I would have liked to run the VTI with 48kHz and record it with 44,1kHz, I think this would have resultet in a better quality since the VTI runs with a higher SR internally. However, it is impossible so stop worrying doc!!!

Just change the soundcard settings to 48KHz. This should change the TI.
