Save on Electric
I've made a habit for the last year and a half of unplugging everything when i leave home for work, shopping Etc..Nothing on standby, TV off,Video,DVD,PC etc etc only leave the fridge and freezer on...So you can imagine how Chuffed i was today to get 191 Euros back off the Electric company from last year
 You know it makes sense

There are some danes that has made an USB power connector. You plug all the power chords from the gear that is connected to your computer (monitors, printers, scanners, etc.) and if there is no power on the USB (if the computer is turned off) it automaticly turns off all the devices connected to it. They also made one that you can connect your video, DVD, surround amplifier, etc. to. Now when the power consumption from the TV plug is under a certain level (when the TV is on standby) it turns off the other devices. Really simple technology but great thinking
