The MOTU mods look pretty promising. I have the 2408 and will probably order the mod once they have the parts for modding the clock

by the mean of opamps does this mean the entire amplifing circuitry which also includs the trs lines or just the preamps?

this guy is brilient,turning budget studio project stuff into high end gear :P

i like what he did with the ballari channel strip,some before and after WAV clips would have been nice tho.

Not the entire circuit, just the chips, or operational amplifiers...they are small little things, that are used in alot of todays cheaper gear, like mackie mixers etc...
