Default No lfo1 or lfo2 rate with soft knobs. (Ti)

Only lfo3, why?

For me it is unconvenient having to press two buttons "edit lfos" + "select lfo1"
just to modulate lfo1s frequency. It is my secondly most used parameter, after filter. But thats why the 3 softnobs are cool! Instant control of you favorite parameters.

So why does somewthing as elementary as lfo rate from lfo1 and 2 not show up as a selection in the menu of the softknobs, me wonders?

for me it's just one button, 'select' either lfo 1, lfo2 or lfo3. Skip the 'edit' button press. Just press exit if you have to. Double press 'select' throws you into edit also. Twisting 'rate' will adjust lfo rate .depending on which lfo (1,2 or 3) is selected regardless of edit on/off

It does - "LFO3 Assign amount" and "LFO3 rate" are available.

If there are things assigned to the lfos, you need to press edit, then select. Pressing select two or more times want work.

The funny thing is that presets ive loaded from my friends Virus A works fine. If i press eighter lfo select 1, 2 or 3, the coresponding lfo rate is selected. However on the presets that came with the ti, it does not work at all, regardless how many times you press select. You have to go "edit" and then "select"

@Khazul: Yes, as I said, only lfo3 rate is enabled with the 3 soft knobs. That is strange.

If thats the way its suposed to be, I need to reprogram a lot of presets!!!

edit: @grs: Pressing exit, then selecting the lfo works actualy. Still it is not instant, in a live situation. You have to press two buttons first. That would be ok, if the softknobs on lfo 1 + 2 rate would work.

I guess ill have to stick to lfo3 for performing uses.

Is it a bug? Is it 1.09?

Maybe I should wrirte access about this.

I also wonder about why you cant controll multiple parts at the same time, in multi mode. Which also is a huge performance drawback.

Would clear out a lot, it doesnt seem anyone knows the answare here..

I can't answer why, but if you set the soft knobs to say one of the spare controls then you could use the mod matrix to then assign that controller to lfo rates.

I see your point with ths and I'll add it to the OS wish list on the virusti forum,

Cheers
