Upload your FATEST synth sound....
Now that we have an download section I think it would be fun if forum members posted their fatest synth sounds. Ive just layered a patch I made on my DX with a Pro-One and the result is quite pleasing (if i say so myself). Id like it if you guys could do something similar and then we could rate them!
Download mine HERE
Hope you like it...

Nice little diddy the DS! Was the FM the bass layer and the pro was obviously the saw lead?

The DX provides the energy....the pro-one is practically inaudiable (i used a triangle waveform for a bit more oomph...)
DX is not too shabby....

Im afraid that Hollowcell will win this one hands down....
Also, the term "FAT" is subjective. Who decides what "FAT" means?

Hey, nice sound DS!
I don't really use plug-ins a lot, but I do like my outboard FX though. But if you listen to my "V-Synth 1st patches" mp3 on my Soundclick site, the second sound there is completely dry (Unless you count filter work as FX) and also towards the end of that demo (at about 1min 26) there is another dry one as well.
Still though, it is subjective I guess. People have different likes and dislikes. I do like that sound you have there though DS.

Ummm.....no actually
When I download it, it doesnt appear as a wav or MP3 file. Just a non-descript file. Is this a windows thing?

Its a windows media audio file. I guess you must be on a Mac - there a suitable codec for quicktime at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...omponents.mspx

Aye. It's an alright sound indeed however I'd like to hear it dry and esp. without those awfully drums! (remove that reverb!)
