Default Defective Virus TI units - serial numbers?

Hi all...
I propose that as a public service, any users who have had to return their TI units to Access post the serial numbers of the defective units. That way, we might be able to zero in on a specific batch of product that needs attention.

waddya think?
trance.

I am not even sure what the serial # of my Polar is. The only thing remotely resembling a serial # is sticker on the bottom with a bar code and something that has more letters than numbers, like "DPUBV5SR" (I am making this up, but you get the idea). Or am I missing something somewhere? There sure isn't a metal plate or anything like that.
