Default New Task for Hollowcell

You gotta load these into the VSynth and see what you can do.

Download the weird modem-style WAV files for programming the old Juno 60 preset banks.

Thanks for the link!

And yeah...I'd be interested to hear what HC came up with too...

Thanks for the link! Yep, I'll post the results - give me a little while though. If the Juno 60 samples I got from Jasedee are anything to go by they will kick arse I'd say.

That is a WEIRD signal that gets fed into that Juno. Its not really like a modem its a much lower frequency. Very strange but I know the V-Synth can fuck that shit right up nicely. They aren't typical instrument samples but a weird datastream signal that sounds kind of interesting.

Apparently you can play this back into the Juno if the volume is correct and restore the factory banks with these 2 WAV files. Some guy was selling them but these I found for free, along with some vintage-style preset MP3s.

By the way does the V-Synth cards have a VP-330 mode or sample? I love that thing but I don't think I'd ever buy one, I think they sell for more than a Jupiter-8!

I would look at the VP-550 of this year but if it is anything like the SH-201 then it will suck donkeynuts.

Not the normal MP3's on there mate, like Keith said there is like a test tone for restoring original patches and that is the wierdo sound that might benefit the V-Synth treatment...

Putting stuff like that into the V can create some pretty out there results. The results from Jase's J60 are pretty much straight kind of sounds, but they turned out pretty huge indeed. I have used a modified bass from your 60 Jase in one of my latest tracks actually.

The V-Synth XT has the Vocal thing build in, but I hear there are more options to play around with it in the V-Synth card/XT when compared to the 550 keyboard. I have some sound demos of the Vocal card built into the V-Synth-XT on my soundclick site if you wanna hear how the 550 sounds.

The Analogue modeling on the V-Synth sucks in my opinion, but I never did like the 8080s much and I would never buy a SH201 either.

I heard the "motherfucker" demo when you first posted it, that was sweet haha

Nothing like a monk choir telling you to fuck off!

This was shamelessly ripped from Merlot in an old post.

Check out the halfway mark. AMAZING

See if you can make a fart bass out of that!
