SPL Charisma 2 - anyone used one?
If so whats your thought about it for use on synths and drums (Roland TD12 V-Drum kit).
Im looking for something that can give some nice soft tape like and/or slightly tubey (but soft tubey) saturation in varing degrees. This contraption seems like a possible... Alternatives were simply abusing a pre-amp - blue tube etc or something similar... I dont want a hard core distortion unit, but something that can take the edge off, and age a sound a little. ty all
