Default Resampling the TI in Live 7

I can't seem to sample the audio from the TI when using the Resampling feature setup on an audio track. It works fine for other non TI tracks in Live.

To see what I mean just load the Virus TI tutorial song, add an audio track and on the audio track under "Audio From" select Resampling. Then arm the audio track. Fire off the song and click the record button in the top clip of the audio track.

I guess you should check routings in Virus Control Common Page - the track you want to resample should be routed to usb not L/R or individual outs.

yeah, I downloaded and loaded the song in live. It's nothing you have to do in virus control. In ableton, do one of the two following:

In the virus control track, change the 'audio to' to master and then you can choose 'resampling' in the 'audio from' on the new track you are using to resample. that will work.

or

in the track you are using to resample choose 'virus ti' for 'audio from'

either way will work. I don't know why access set up the file that way. I know it was designed for live 5 so maybe that has something to do with it.

this allows me to sample the TI now, thanks sawtooth, but how do I use the resample feature to capture all tracks ie. TI tracks and other tracks in Live, or effectively the output from the Master

The other way I wrote above:
In the virus control track, change the 'audio to' (in live) to master and then you can choose 'resampling' in the 'audio from' on the new track you are using to resample (everything that is being sent to master). that will work.

Default It works !

Yes that works, it's strange that the TI does not output to the master by default. Anyway thanks for that, I am slowly getting used to Live, I swapped from logic
