Default (Unsolved) Virus TI Polar won't turn off.

First... Hello all. I'm new here and this is my 1st post.

anyways...

I can't turn off my Virus. Whenever I try to power down it counts down like it normally does than right when it's about go to sleep it powers back on again. The only way to get it to stay off is by unplugging it. The problem happens 100% of every time I try to power down. It's going on about 1 month now since the problem started. Happens with and without a USB connection.

I've tried Resetting the virus and reinstalling the os. So. Anyone else here dealing with this issue?

(update)

I figured I would downloaded OS 3.0 Beta and install to see if that would fix it. I switched from 2.7.3 to 3.0. Never had 2.7.5 installed so I figured Jumping past it wouldn't be a problem. After waiting for everything to install, load, and reset I opened up logic, added a 16 channel multi-timbre instance of VC and was surprised by the new interface and the LOOOOOOONG load time. after about a 3min wait for logic to sync the mem with my virus I decided to play the first channel (init) to see if I hear anything. The patch played but never stopped like an endless release. I went into the config setting to make sure everything was in order, made a few adjustments then played again, same thing endless tone.

I powered everything down unplugged the virus waited about 10 min then turned everything back on went through the same steps as above and now everything is working perfectly, so far.

Should I switch back to 2.7.3, 2.7.5, or stay at 3.0 since it seems to be okay for now.

Thanks.

LOL.

I switched back to 2.7.3 (Would love to have 2.7.5 but Access website no workey for me)

3.0 worked in 5 min intervals than I had to hit panic due to hanging notes and ear piercing artifacts.

and here we are with my original problem!!!

My virus won't turn off!
