Angry An Unsolved Mystery!

Hey folks,

So i just got my brand new virus Ti. Very excited about it, almost everything is working fine. My problem is this:

Im currently running Protools 7 with an Axiom 49 Midi keyboard triggering my Virus Desktop (v3.0.3.00 ). The Keyboard/Virus setup works fine but my issue arises in the Virus Control RTAS. My midi device stops triggering my TI when i load up control (little note symbol doesnt come up on the virus' display either), i know im getting audio because when i hit the audition button on the TI the audio track in protools gets signal. But why doesnt my midi device work?

I'm thinking it might have somthing to do with the fact that my axiom is plugged in via usb, so maybe there could be a conflict...instead of sending midi info out the midi port it sends it via usb....but im still stuck! I can't find anything to help me when i search the forums either

Any help with this would be much appreciated as I've been waiting a long time to get this baby up and running.

Cheers

If there is no note appearing on the TI's screen then it is not recieving a midi signal. Do you have it on an instrument track? Is it armed? Is pro tools getting the signal from the keyboard? ie do the meters jump when you hit a key? The usb keyboard should not be an issue.

If im not mistaken you cant use the midi port and usb at the same time to send/receive midi notes.
