Run and Hide - first song using Virus
Hi all,
I recently bought a second hand Virus Rack, and this is the first song I have done with it in my home "studio".
Everything was played on the Virus, except the two bass lines, which are Sylenth1, and the drums, which are Jamstix. I designed all the sounds myself. It was recorded in Reaper.

I'm just an amateur that enjoys tinkering with synths, but I'd be very interested to hear what you think of it.

Thanks,
Yes, I was song writer, lyrics writer, sound designer, keyboardist, singer, and recording engineer. That's what you get for being an amateur working at home

Daniel,
I actually thought you had remixed a depeche mode song. Your voice sounds just like the lead singers! Your music definitely shows promise.

Hi all,
This is the latest and possibly final version of the song. The differences are not dramatic, and are mainly the result of me buying new monitors, so I can finally hear what's going on in my song . . .
Hope you enjoy it:

Whoa, Daniel, nice tune! I've never really understood this sort of style, but i listened to your whole track and found myself enjoying it more and more as it progressed! Brilliant, mate (^_^)

Very interesting post goth synth pop, catchy and with just enough of a nod to Joy Division and the like to not sound contrived. Cheers and Holla
