That's a classic! I always wondered where he got that main groove from...
Great idea, but fuck me the amount of time he must have used for it!Actually as a Prodigy tribute a month or two ago, I did a live mash-up at a mates place on Ableton/APC with a bunch small loops off of Prod tracks and a lot of my own drums - definitely one of the most fun sets I have put together for sure! Nothing compared to this guys Vid though. Ahhh, good ol' Prodigy.... EDIT: Found the Prod mash-up I did, but I must have been more out of it than I thought as it doesn't sound as good now . I put it on my myspace link there (only until tomorrow). Really gave the APC a real bashing doing this one though as it was completely live including all the FX and chops - loops and sounds from prod tracks were on each side of the fader, then triggered from the pads - bashed the crap out of my APC as I was sooo into it.EDIT2: It's just called 'mash' on my myspace songs.

That an amazing bit of digging and beat recognisition - never picked up on the Ultramagnetics MC sample - gonna have to dig in my vinyl again and prove that one to a few old skool pals
