Default [Virus C] Is this normal?

Hi everone. I'm new to this forum and Access stuff. I bought a Virus C few weeks ago. Seems to work fine. I've upgraded the OS to v.6.6 beta, I've managed to upload sound banks etc.

So what is my problem? Here it is:

What I have recently noticed is that some patches (eg DX piano - Bank C or D as far as I remember) produce an annoying click at the end of the sound. The sound you would hear with an inaccurately trimmed sample. Firstly I thought that it can be sorted with a little tweak of amp "Release". But no it does not seem to be a sound design issue. Funny enough there are loads of sounds that are crystal clear (no clicks).

Is it normal? I guess it's not. None of my other 6 hardware synths does act like that.

But there's more to it. I also have found patches that last forever. What I mean is that when I press a note, say 1/32, the sound lasts, lasts and lasts. Like with maximum amp Release, Sustain settings on. During further invastigations I have found that Release works more like trim/cut
to these sounds. No gradual fades or anything like that. On top of that I can't get amp Attack working. The display shows changing values but I can't hear any effect. Filter Attack works perfect though.

Is it normal? I guess it's not.

So has anyone experienced something like that? Any suggestions?

What I'm going to do today is:
1. Initialize the unit (Lfo shape button + power on)
2. Load OS 6.5
3. Check MIDI connections - connect keyboard directly to the synth with MIDI IN only

* I'm on Q6600, Win32XP, Cubase 5, ESI1010 audio/midi interface, Emagic MT4 midi interface.

Sorry for the long post. Thanks in advance.
