Please Help Me!!!!

Ok, I am a first time Virus owner. I bought a used Virus C desktop. The owner told me that there are "Vengeance Sound Sets" loaded into it (check them out here: http://www.vengeance-sound.com/eng/i...dexSounds.html ). It's OS is 6.5

Here's my questions:

What is the difference between a "soft" reset, and a "hard" reset? Also, I know how to soft reset it with the LFO shape button, but what exactly does that do? Is there even such a thing as a factory reset "new out of the box" reset?

My banks "A" and "B" are empty...is this normal? Perhaps something the original owner did? Banks, "C" through "H" are loaded with sounds.

Im coming to here for help, cuz I cant seem to get any response from Access, and guitar center employees are a joke when it comes to product knowledge.
