Default Could this room ever sound good? (video)

Alright, so I am currently having to relocate from my previous room which sounded really good to this space which really, really, really does not.

Let me know if you think there is any way to make this into a legit sounding space!

Thanks!

Mate i think instantly your sub will give you more headaches then pleasure. From what I have read and heard in other peoples untreated bedrooms, subs tend to just make everything exceedingly hard to mix and judge. I would try mixing with just your monitors, and turning the sub on now and again just to have a quick listen.

I too have moved from a nice room (semi treated, with a nice alcove and a few panels), to a room with huge ceilings, wooden floors, 1936 style victorian house. The difference in what I am hearing out the monitors is absolutely astonishing, and very disheartening as well. Looking into room treatment solutions now myself, so I feel your pain.

Yeah, I've been reading about some of the big cons of using subs....one of the many things I wish I'd done research on BEFORE I bought it....

Oh well, when I upgrade to some bigger monitors the sub will make a great addition to my home theater system!
