Yes. It's the AES Convention in NYC October 7-10. I suspect that the delay of the TI release has something related to the next installment of Logic and/or Cubase/Nuendo, etc.

I'm not sure if Access would hold back the release for some 3rd party apps (specially unreleased versions). They wouldn't want to lose the possible sales.

Well, yeah, there is something a bit fishy about the whole business.

btw, I'm not getting a TI now either. I used the TI money to buy an 8-buss, and have now just bought a laptop..... So, maybe TI v2 if/when it comes around, and when it's is assured to be bug free!

i dont understand why they dont release the synth without the vst integration.

i dont give a fuck about vst integration - a virus synth with 2 dsp, 80 voices, supersaw etc. is enougn for me.

all controls could work like the C - works fine in cubase.

I was holding off from buying the new V-synth XT as I think the TI may be closer to what I?m looking for. But this silent clueless waiting is ridiculous. They are nine months off schedule and haven?t communicated anything to their customers.

Youve been away for a while Derek so perhaps you havent heard the news that Access have just signed a contract with Digidesign to ship the TDM version of the indigo plugin with every protools rig sold.

Any more speculation that Access is going to broke and that they 'have' to release soon is merely preorder customers getting hot under the collar.

Just the revenue from indigo TDM and poco sales will keep them afloat for as long as they wish to stay in development phase for the TI.

I think Access would be quite smug reading all these posts about them going broke while they toast the success of their new contract with digidesign...

Still, I'm just laughing at the joke of it all. I wonder if anyone got fired at Access because of this huge debacle. Thats what I did - bought a Novation KS-Rack back in June when it became obvious this thing wasnt shipping anytime soon - great little synth and rediculously cheap at the moment if you can still find them.

While I got it as a stop gap - Im using it alot now and actually I think I'll still use it alot when I get my TI.

Got a KS4 and it ROCKS(especially for the price...Got mine for 450$ USD).
Sounds much better than my jp8080 for trance...Wasnt expecting such great sounds out of that synth!

The supersaw was fun on the jp8080 but it takes so much room in a mix and is not very versatile...+ there is no onboard reverb on the JP and it's only 2 parts and 8 of polyphony...

On the ks4 I got 16 polyphony and 4 parts...And the best thing, I don't need to use all parts to make it sound good :)
jp8080 sounds aggressive when filter fully open...ks4 sounds smooth!

The Korg Karma is a great keyboard. Very inspiring. Built on a Korg Triton engine. Actually, you can load Triton sounds in it. Very solid great sounding.

Yeah, I seriously wish there was a stand-alone, desktop KARMA unit that you can use as super arpeggiator/effects to control other synths via MIDI rather than being bundled with a Triton synth+engine. That would be fun.

you need to check with your dealer. we ship to our worldwide distributors and we never accepted pre-orders in the way that we collect cash for things we have not delivered yet. as a result, we don't know anything about the pre-orders, apart from what our distributors _reserved_ for the initial shipment.
