Those waveforms are PCMs. Ultra-tiny, single-cycle audio samples. Even the original Virus A had them.
The main sine, saw and square oscillators are not samples, though. They're calculated by DSP in realtime. The triangle may possibly be too.
The wavetables in the TI are an entirely different entity. Wavetabling is morphing/fading through several waveforms in succession. Not entirely sure how they work though as I don't have a TI. Do they modulate between the same stock PCM oscillator waveforms, or do they have a new set of PCMs?
I long to be able to design your own single-cycle PCMs on the Virus. I hope they add it to a new Virus at some point.
